Thai massage is a holistic approach to bodywork, focusing on the Thai energy lines, called "sen," to help restore balance and harmony for mind, body and spirit. During a session, the therapist uses hands, forearms, elbows, knees, and feet to apply compressions and stretch the body in a series of gentle, flowing movements.

​David begins with a thorough assessment of each client in order to create the best session possible for their unique needs. There are 4 positions for the receiver with Thai massage, including side-lying and seated (on the floor). Not to worry if you have trouble lying face down in prone position, for example. There are many techniques and modifications to ensure a full experience.​​​​​​​​​​

You will:

  • Receive treatment on a soft Thai massage mat on the floor

  • Remain clothed, so wearing stretchy comfy clothing is ideal

  • Be asked for feedback on how the techniques are feeling

  • Be guided/reminded to breath from time to time

  • Be encouraged to communicate (even when not asked) if you wish for more/less pressure or stretch

The benefits of traditional Thai massage are all-encompassing. This sacred artform offers a practice in letting go, receiving, listening and communication. It allows for fine-tuning of our body and breath awareness. Circulation is improved, strengthening the immune system and balancing the nervous system. The deep relaxation experienced during a session reduces stress and anxiety, making space for optimal mental clarity and emotional balance.

Extra bonus benefits by receiving consistent sessions (once or twice weekly) over a period of time, Thai massage therapy can progressively improve flexibility, posture, bone density. Chronic conditons such as muscle and joint pain, digestive disharmonies, sinus/headache​ and more will all have increased chances of improvement with regular treatments of Thai massage.

There are a few different rooms accessible to us for your session, each of them are part of collaborative wellness spaces (where the little white heart is on the map) at:

Central Expwy between Walnut Hill/Royal Lane in Dallas, TX.
Exact address will be given during scheduling.  

Mobile Thai Massage 

David is available to travel to your home, studio, office or other unique location.​

  • travel fee is $50 (added on to standard rates)​​

Options for 2 or more people

​

  • Share the session time with a friend or family member. 

  • Add more time for friend/family, 30 minutes increments $55​

  • Couples massage, friends/family receiving at the same time, with Misty joining David. Travel fee is higher with this option, please see the details in the couples massage section.
