Laughter Yoga

Laughter Yoga is a combination of improvisational exercises, laughter, light stretching and breathing techniques.  This class is a wonderful way to connect with others and tune into your inner child.  It can also be quite an aerobic workout!

"Laughter Yoga's core premise is that your body knows how to laugh, regardless of what your mind has to say. Because it follows a body-mind approach to laughter, participants do not need to have a sense of humor, know jokes, or even be happy. The invitation is to "laugh for no reason", faking it until it becomes real. Laughing is an easy way to strengthen all immune functions, bring more oxygen to the body and brain, foster positive feelings, and improve interpersonal skills." ~Sebastian Gendry

Thai Massage with Sound Healing Meditation

with David & Leah and our friend Denae!

In this 90 minute session, David and Misty will make their way around the room to everyone offering multiple hands-on Thai yoga massage techniques while Denae plays her array of sound healing instruments, including gong, bowls and more!

Blend Thai massage with the power of sound through the soothing vibrations of a variety of healing instrument including gongs, quartz crystal & Tibetan singing bowls. The soundwaves bath your body penetrating each cell with healing frequencies.  Give your mind the chance to slow and allow your body to melt into relaxation. In this deep state, stress hormones decrease allowing the immune system to function more efficiently. Through sound, the two hemispheres of your brain become more balanced. Combining Thai massage with sound, your body releases natural opiates giving your whole system a chance to heal & rejuvenate.

Thai Massage & Sound are complimentary practices through which you reach the deepest levels of healing on a physical, mental and spiritual level. Thai massage coupled with sound frequencies allow the body to release blocked energy and blocked emotion at a cellular level clearing the path for health & wellness.

No experience necessary.

Side affects may include: happiness, wellness, joy, lightness, sense of freedom, connection.

You don’t need to do anything except breath and be open to recieve!

Reiki, Levels 1 & 2  taught by Misty

Reiki is a spiritual healing art with its roots in Japanese origin. The word Reiki comes from the Japanese word (Rei) which means “Universal Life” and (Ki) which means “Energy”. Reiki is not affiliated with any particular religion or religious practice. It is not massage nor is it based on belief or suggestion. It is a subtle and effective form of energy work using spiritually guided life force energy.

Reiki is the life energy that flows through all living things. Reiki Practitioners understand that everyone has the ability to connect with their own healing energy and use it to strengthen energy in themselves and help others. It is believed that a person’s “ki” or energy should be strong and free flowing. When this is true a person’s body and mind is in a positive state of health. When the energy becomes weak or blocked it could lead to symptoms of physical or emotional imbalance.

A Reiki session can help ease tension and stress and can help support the body to facilitate an environment for healing on all levels – physical, mental, and emotional. A session is pleasant and relaxing and is often utilized for one’s personal wellness.
